Andrea Van Deren
My Yoga journey started in 2006, and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The passion I feel for yoga and meditation has changed my life. It has been elemental in improving my physical and mental health as well as bringing joy and spirituality into this life. Not only has yoga “cured” many of my ails, but has brought me to a greater understanding of who I am, and taught me the importance of self love.
Practicing yoga with gratitude and compassion for not only yourself, but for others as well is a huge part of my practice, and I’m excited to share these gifts with you! My goal is to create a safe space for people to discover themselves more fully while practicing. Yoga allows us to look within and deepen the relationship we have with ourselves… mind, body and soul.
I’m a Registered Yoga Teacher with 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through the Mount Madonna Institute, and a 20-hour Yin Yoga Program through Jennifer Raye Yoga. I am insured and licensed. Certified through Yoga Alliance, and trained to teach Classical Ashtanga Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Meditation and Pranayama (Breathing Practices).
“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”
